COnscArts Council ENgland Logoription is a multimedia installation exploring the call-up to military service for people who don't 'fit the mould'.

The four-channel film follows the stories of four individuals who meet at a military hospital - three subjects under assessment and their doctor. Each speculates about why the others are there: gay? Disabled? Conscientious objector? Troublemaker?

Characters and stories emerge through the imposed restrictions of the hospital ward to create a compelling, thought-provoking and dramatic installation. Building on first-hand research and interviews with people who have direct experience of similar circumstances, the narrative is based on conscription in Turkey but deals with the subject in a universal, global way.
